hace tiempo e buscado una muy buena guia para hacer un buen tank y despues de tanto buscar en los foros y pedir ayuda, encontre una muy buena guia para la construccion de un tank(marble). Espero q sepan ingles Razz



Art of Guardians

This talent decreases damage you receive and decreases cooldown of one of most important skill - Counter strike. It is one of your main tanking skills so you should put max it ASAP.
Recommendation: 5/5


Crushing Punch

This talent improves your first skill (Hard Smash), which have 10% probability to decrease incoming damage, and it can stack. Each point increase probability by 10%.
This is not bad but since you need only 5 points to get to next tier, you should skip it.




Code of Taunt

This talent reduces cooldown of your most important aggro control skill.
Taunt will force your target to attack you for some time. This talent is a must.
Recommendation: 3/3


Abominable Will

This talent improves your Mental Focus buff, which increase your accuracy and threat you produce.
More threat you can produce the easier you can hold aggro. This talent is a must.
Recommendation: 3/3

Source of Recovery

This talent improves your Recovery Aura. Now your aura increases healing you and your party gets and increase your chance to get back some of your HP when you get attacked.
You not gonna use it so often as you may think. but this aura can save you lots of potions also healer can heal easier.
Recomendation: 5/5



Mass Taunt

This talent gives you a new skill "Mass Taunt". Skill is similliar to Taunt, except it aggro all mobs around you. Higher level increases amount of mobs you can aggro per use and for how long. This talent is a must.
PvP use: this skill also removes stealth and prevents from using it for some time.
You should get this skill, but there is no point to level it higher.
Recommendation: 1/3

Chaos Taunt

This talent improves your Mass Taunt skill which reduce your target's accuracy. Talent Calculator is misleading. You need only 1 point in Mass Taunt to be able to put points in Chaos Taunt talent.
Since you have some points available you should put atleast 1 point, because this talent unlocks higher level talent.
Recommendation: 1/3

Spirit of Rocks

This talent improves your Rocky Protection skill, which now recovers some of your HP when you use it.
When tanking, Rocky Protection can save you from death and getting back some HP is nice.
You can decide yourself how many points you wanna invest in it.
Recommendation:from 2/4 to 4/4



Faith of Protection
This talent improves your Protection of Strength buff, which now increases your total HP while someone is hitting you. Can stack up to 10 times.
The more HP you have, the more HP you get with this talent. This talent is a must.
Recommendation: 3/3

Firepower Coverage

This talent improves threat you produce using skills.
More threat - easier to hold aggro. This talent is a must.
Recommendation: 2/2

Stone Skin

This talent improves your Physical resistance which is kinda like permanent damage reduction.
Recommendation: 4/4




Light of Belief

This talent improves Faith of Protection buff, which now last longer. While you fight a boss, Faith of Protection gonna be fully stacked. After fight, there is no point to have this buff to last longer because your not gonna fight a boss every 10-20 secs.
Recommendation: 0/3

Landslide

This talent improves your Earth Rift skill, which now can damage more mobs and increase range.
Earth Rift skill is useless in open PvE, it is used as a mass aggro skill (something like Mass Taunt). 1 point to increase it's range is enough.
Recommendation: 1/3

Protection Fortify

This talent permanently increase your defense. At level 4 it increases your defense by 40, so it's not really noticeable. Still more defense is better for tanking and you will have some points to add.
Recommendation: 4/4




Whirlwind's Blessing

This talent improves your Gale Force duration. Gale Force skill increases your and party members speed for a few seconds. Gale Force skill is kinda useless and this improvement is kinda waste.
Recommendation: 0/3

Schism

This talent improves Earth Rift's slowing effect and it's duration.
It have PvP uses but for PvE it's totaly useless.
Recommendation: 0/4



Guardian Boulder

This talent further improves your base defense and also increases damage reduction while Guardian State active. You should get as much defense as possible and this talent looks nice. This is a must.
Recommendation: 3/3

Infamous Scourge

This talent reduces Mass Taunt cooldown. Maxed it can reduce your cooldown to 1 min. Is it worth it? It really depends on you. How often you gonna use/ using this skill?All i can say that it should be maxed or left without any points.
If you wanna max it but don't have enough points, then take as mush as you can from Spirit of Rocks talent.
Recommendation: 0/3 or 3/3

Wisdom

This talent reduces mana cost of 4 of your skills. Only Mass Taunt needs so much mana to cast. So its better get 1 mana potion and save 5 points than waste them.
Recommendation: 0/5



Upheaval

This talent gives you nice frontal AoE attack. This skill's description in Talent Calculator is misleading. This skill reduce evasion only by 10.
Recommendation: 2/2

Magma Burst

This talent improves your AoE attacks and also gives more threat. So its a must.
Recommendation:2/2



Heart of Sentinel

This talent increases duration of Loyal Guardian by 3 secs and increases max range by 15%. So far i have no idea what Loyal Guardian is/do so cannot say more about this talent. Still i think it's gonna be useful so i would recommend max it. (i'll update when i have more info)
Recommendation: 2/2

Tenacity of Rock

This talent increases Critical dodge rating. Talent Calculator is misleading because it says that this talent increase your Critical Strike rating. So this talent is useless.
Recommendation: 0/3



Protection Mastery

This talent improves Counter Strike skill. Now your skills no longer suffer from high your damage reduction while Guardian Mode active.
Recommendation: 3/3

Energy of Land

This talent improves your 2 skills damage.
Recommendation: 2/2
